234 Community Impact Challenge (CIC 4.0) gives Nigerian students a chance to solve community problems and win grants. Participants can receive up to N250,000 and certificates. Keep reading to learn how to enter and what to expect.
Nigerian students can take part in the 234 Community Impact Challenge (CIC 4.0) to solve real problems in their communities.
This challenge supports young people in driving change by identifying issues and providing solutions.
Winners receive grants, certificates, and training to improve their impact.
How It Works
The challenge runs in three stages.
Stage 1
- Create a 90-second video explaining a community problem and how to solve it.
- The best 50 entries will be selected.
- Chosen participants will join a 4-week training on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.
Stage 2
- 25 participants will be chosen for excellent performance and awarded N5,000 worth of data.
- These participants must submit a refined 90-second video explaining how they will improve their projects.
- 10 participants will be selected based on project viability and receive N30,000 seed funds.
Stage 3
- The top 10 finalists will implement their projects for a month.
- Each finalist must submit a 90-second project presentation.
- The top 4 winners will be selected and awarded N250,000 each along with a certificate of excellence.
