Saturday, 6th December 2025 – Keep-fit exercise
Event: Keep-fit exercise
- Venue: University Sports Centre
- Time: 6:00 a.m.
Students, staff and friends of the university gather for light exercise at the sports centre to start the weekend on a healthy note.
Monday, 8th December 2025 – Press conference
Event: Press conference by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga E. Ige
- Venue: Senate Chamber, AAUA
- Time: 10:00 a.m.
The Vice Chancellor meets the press to share key updates on the convocation, new achievements and plans for the university community.
Tuesday, 9th December 2025 – Research fair and convocation play
Event 1: Research and development fair
- Venue: Students Relaxation Centre (Western Campus)
- Time: 10:00 a.m.
Students, lecturers and researchers present projects and ideas that show current work across different faculties. Displays and talks help visitors see what is happening in teaching and research on campus.
Event 2: Convocation play

Wednesday, 10th December 2025 – Friendly match

Thursday, 11th December 2025 – Convocation lecture and graduands’ cocktail
Event 1: Convocation lecture

- Lecturer: Professor Idowu Olayinka (Former Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan)
- Venue: University Multipurpose Hall

Event 2: Graduands’ cocktail

Saturday, 13th December 2025 – More first degrees, postgraduate and higher degrees
Event 1: Conferment of first degrees (more faculties)

Students from these faculties receive their first degrees in another formal session at the Multipurpose Hall.
Event 2: Award of postgraduate diplomas

- Time: Immediately after Event 1
Holders of postgraduate diplomas receive their awards in front of family, friends and members of the university community.
Event 3: Award of higher degrees

- Time: Follows previous sessions
Masters and doctoral graduands receive their higher degrees. This marks years of focused study and research work.
