Eligibility for AAUA Post-UTME Screening
- Candidates must have selected Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) as their first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME and scored 160 or above.
- Direct Entry candidates must have chosen AAUA as their first choice institution.
- Candidates who sat for the 2024/2025 UTME, scored 160 or above, and wish to change their first choice to AAUA can also apply.
- Applicants for LAW must score at least 250 in the UTME, and those for Mass Communication must score at least 200.
- Those who did not initially select AAUA as their first choice must make the necessary changes on JAMB CAPS to AAUA before registration closes.
Special Notices for Prospective Applicants
- Candidates should provide valid and active e-mail addresses and phone numbers without the “DO NOT DISTURB” setting.
- The University is not responsible for communication failures due to invalid e-mail addresses or non-functional phone numbers.
- Eligible candidates should be at least sixteen years old at the start of the 2024/2025 academic session.
How to Apply for AAUA Post-UTME Screening
Registration for the online screening exercise starts on Monday, 12th August 2024.
- Visit the AAUA Screening Portal
- Create an Account
- Use your valid JAMB registration number and e-mail address.
- Confirm Your E-mail Address
- Click on the link sent to your e-mail (check the spam box if not found in your inbox).
- Log in and Make Payment
- Pay ₦5,000.00 (₦2,000 for POST-UTME REGISTRATION and ₦3,000 for PORTAL ACCESS FEE) via E-tranzact.
- Complete the Bio-data Form
- Fill in your information accurately.
- Print Out the Bio-data Slip
- Keep this for your records.
General Instructions for All Candidates
- Upload all O’Level results on the portal. A maximum of two sittings is allowed for O’Level requirements.
- AAUA accepts WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB O’Level results.
- For Direct Entry, AAUA accepts 1st Degree (Second Class Lower), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (6 Points), and NCE (8 Points).
- Candidates awaiting O’Level results may apply but must upload their results on the University portal and JAMB CAPS once released.
- Check Admission Requirements for O’Level and UTME subject requirements for chosen courses.
- Change to desirable courses on JAMB CAPS if UTME subject combinations do not match.
- Read course requirements and select correct subject combinations, including credit passes in English and Mathematics.
- Complete the online form carefully, as mistakes may lead to disqualification for misrepresentation.
- Print evidence of transaction completion for future reference.
- Participation in the online screening exercise is compulsory for admission consideration.
