Abia State University Launches Africa's First Faculty of Optometry

The University Senate has approved the upgrade of the Department of Optometry, along with Nursing Sciences and Medical Laboratory Science, to full-fledged faculties. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Onyemachi M. During a recent meeting, Professor Chris Timothy, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, led a delegation of senior academics to express their gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor. 3. Primary Care Optometry
4. Cornea and Contact Lens
5. Pediatric Optometry
6. Orthoptics and Vision Therapy
