ABU Extends Postgraduate Application Deadline 2025/2026

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria has extended the deadline for the online sale of postgraduate application forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. The closing date, which was earlier set for Friday, 31 October 2025, has been moved to Sunday, 30 November 2025.

This update gives prospective students more time to complete their applications and prepare the required documents. Application Process and Requirements at ABU

The postgraduate application form costs ₦10,000, excluding bank charges. Candidates applying for PhD programmes must upload a proposal of no more than 300 words. Applicants should ensure that they provide valid phone numbers and email addresses for communication.

Each candidate must hold at least five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings. These basic requirements help maintain academic standards across the postgraduate programmes at ABU.
