Introduction to the Triple Certification

The announcement was made during a visit by Mind Education experts from China and Korea, who came to ACU to implement the mind education project. Professor Adebayo explained that the Mind Education project began after his visit to South Korea in 2023, where he participated in the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) program. He, along with other Nigerian university leaders, observed how mind education helps combat social vices among the youth in Korea and other Asian countries. Inspired by the positive results, ACU signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mind Educators to introduce this program to its students.

Programme Details

The Mind Education programme aims to reshape the mindset of young people, helping them overcome social vices such as sexual violence, drug abuse, and other corrupt practices. Since its inception in 2001, the IYF has successfully helped many youths confront their challenges and integrate better into society.

Robert Udo, the project coordinator, elaborated on the objectives of the programme. He stated, “The aim of this project is to reshape the mindset of the youth to overcome social vices like sexual violence, drug abuse, and other corrupt practices.”

At ACU, the Mind Education course includes various activities designed to foster personal growth and develop a positive mindset. Recently, a Mind Education Camp was held, featuring games, dance, lectures, and other activities to help students build a strong, positive outlook.
