ADUSTECH Wudil resumption details for 2025/2026
Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, has confirmed the start of the 2025/2026 Academic Session for both fresh and returning students. The notice came through a circular released by the Student Affairs Division and signed by the Dean, Student Affairs, Prof. Abdulkadir Muhammad Dambazau.
Students were informed that all halls of residence will reopen on Sunday, 11 January 2026, starting exactly 8:00 a.m. No early access. No late excuses.
The message was clear. Campus order, cleanliness, and student discipline remain the focus this session. Nothing has been relaxed. Every standing rule still applies, and breaking them comes with real consequences.
Hygiene and environmental sanitation
Students were reminded that open defecation is completely banned. Hostel residents must use designated toilet facilities at all times. There is no grey area here.
Waste disposal also matters. Rubbish must go into the bins provided. Throwing litter around hostels or common spaces is not accepted.
Another issue the University flagged again is water misuse. Splashing or spilling water in corridors, balconies, or shared areas is not allowed. It causes accidents. It damages buildings. It will attract penalties.
Electrical appliances and fire safety
Fire safety remains a major concern on campus. To reduce risks, students are not allowed to keep or use heavy electrical appliances inside hostels. This includes:
- Hot plates
- Electric cookers
- Immersion heaters
- Refrigerators
Cooking is only permitted in approved kitchenette areas. Where gas is allowed, cylinders must be stored properly and used with care. Shortcuts here usually end badly.
Security and personal property
Students were advised to be cautious with personal belongings. Flashy display of expensive phones, jewellery, or gadgets is discouraged, especially in shared spaces.
The University stated clearly that it will not take responsibility for lost high-value items kept in common areas.
Every student must carry their University ID card at all times. Security officers may request it at any point, day or night. No ID, no argument.
Code of conduct and residency rules
Squatting remains a serious offence. This means allowing an unregistered person to stay in a hostel room. Both the host student and the squatter face disciplinary action. Loss of bed space is very likely.
Curfew rules also stand:
- Hostel residents must return by 10:00 p.m.
- Off-campus students are expected back by 12:00 midnight
Noise control matters too. Loud music, shouting, or disturbances that affect others’ study or sleep will not be overlooked.
Students were also reminded to stick to the approved campus dress code at all times. Inside hostels. Outside hostels. Everywhere.
Management’s position
Prof. Dambazau stressed that University Management remains committed to student welfare and academic progress. That support only works when students cooperate.
Anyone who ignores the rules risks immediate loss of hostel accommodation and further disciplinary action. No long warnings. No back and forth.
The circular was shared with senior University officers, hall administrators, security units, student union leaders, and association presidents.
The message to students is simple. Resume on time. Follow the rules. Focus on studies. The University wishes everyone a smooth and productive 2025/2026 Academic Session.
