AFUSTA Online Screening and Registration Guide for 2025/2026 Fresh Students

Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA), formerly known as Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA), has released a step-by-step online screening and registration procedure for all newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The school issued the guide to make registration easier for fresh students; candidates are expected to follow each stage and keep every printed document.

Step 1: Start the online screening (for candidates yet to complete it)

The process begins with online screening for candidates who have not completed the exercise. Candidates are required to log on to the university application portal, check admission status, and complete the application form after paying a N2,000 fee.

After submission, candidates must print the Online Screening Form and report to the Registration Centre for activation; this activation is the next gate.

Step 2: Print the conditional offer letter after activation

After activation, students are to check their registered email to access and print a Conditional Offer letter. Students should use the same email they registered with; a wrong email can Delay access.

Step 3: Pay acceptance fee and download the provisional offer

Students are to pay a N5,000 admission acceptance fee online to download the Offer of Provisional Admission. This step comes after the conditional offer letter; students should keep copies of what they print.

Step 4: Pay for student registration record files at Ecobank

After the acceptance stage, students are to pay N1,500 at any Ecobank Nigeria Plc branch for Student Registration Record Files. Students are then to report to the designated Registration Centre on campus with evidence of payment, starting from Tuesday, 27 January, 2026 (also written as Tue, 27 Jan 2026).

Step 5: Collect three files and arrange credentials for checking

At the Registration Centre, students will collect three registration files. Students are to photocopy all required credentials and insert them into each file; originals must also be presented for screening.

The required credentials include:

Students should keep the originals ready for sighting; photocopies alone will not cover the screening stage.

Step 6: Collect confirmation letter and generate invoice for registration fees

After verification, students will be issued a Confirmation of Admission Letter. Students are then to generate a payment invoice for registration fees through the student portal.

AFUSTA also warned that non-indigenes who falsely claim Kebbi State origin will face double registration fees after verification; the school says it will verify claims.

Step 7: Complete online course registration and print required forms

After payment invoice generation and fee payment, students are to proceed with online course registration. Students will then print the required documents, such as:

Students should keep the printouts neat; messy pages can slow checking at the next desk.

Step 8: Verify and sign registration payments at Student Affairs

Students are to take registration payments for verification and signing at the Student Affairs Division; the sign-off confirms payments on the university side.

Step 9: Register with the University Clinic for NHIS

Students must also register with the University Clinic for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). This registration is listed as part of the full onboarding steps; students should complete it as directed.

Step 10: Get library ticket and ID card, then submit completed files

Students are required to obtain a library borrower’s ticket and ID card from the main library. After completing all sections, students will submit all three fully completed registration files to the Academic Division; this submission closes the registration loop.

Closing note from the university

AFUSTA congratulated the newly admitted students and wished them success in their studies, repeating its motto: “Knowledge for self-reliance.”

Fresh students should follow the listed steps and comply with deadlines and guidelines; missing a step can lead to repeat visits.
