Fellowship Overview
The Agora Policy Writing Fellowship is part of the Policy Support, Deepening and Engagement (PSDE) project.
This initiative promotes data-driven and participatory policymaking and governance in Nigeria.
The project is supported by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
The fellowship is non-residential and spans three months.
Fellows will attend writing workshops, receive supervision, and work on individual writing projects with research grants available.
Agora Policy is a Nigerian think tank committed to evidence-based solutions and practical policymaking.
Eligibility for the Fellowship
Applicants must have a first degree in any field.
Candidates should be comfortable working with data.
A passion for research, writing, and public policy is essential.
Application Requirements
To apply, candidates must submit the following:
- A 400-word statement of purpose.
- A resume or CV.
- Two policy-related writing samples, which may be published or unpublished.
- A letter of endorsement from an employer or a reference letter for freelancers.
