Airtel Africa Foundation 2025/2026 Undergraduate Tech Scholarship: Eligibility, Universities, Courses, Requirements and Deadline

Airtel Africa Foundation (the “Foundation”) is the philanthropic arm of Airtel Africa Plc, a provider of telecommunications and mobile money services with a presence in 14 African countries. The Foundation’s mission covers financial inclusion, education, environmental protection and digital inclusion.

The Foundation launched the “Airtel Africa Tech Fellowship” programme to support young Africans from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education in STEM. The programme forms part of the Foundation’s stated aim of increasing the proportion of African youth with advanced tech skills and shaping the next generation of tech leaders from the continent. The Foundation is partnering with selected universities to support meritorious African students who secure admission into a tech-related undergraduate programme.

Fellowship reach in Nigeria

In Nigeria, the fellowship will support at least 100 students per year.

Fellowship coverage and duration

The fellowship is for the full duration of Bachelor of Tech, Science and Engineering programmes, stated as 4–5 years.

Applications by eligible candidates are to be submitted online through the Airtel Africa Tech Fellowship application page. Candidates are to include personal and educational details in the application.
