Ajayi Polytechnic Resumption Date

The Ajayi Polytechnic, Ikere-Ekiti, management has announced the date for the resumption of academic activities on campus.

Ajayi Polytechnic Resumption Date

Consequent upon the directive of the Federal Ministry of Education that the earlier announced date for resumption, Monday, 18th January 2021, still stands, the Polytechnic management has approved the resumption of academic activities effective from Monday, 18th January 2021.

While the school management has put in place necessary precautions to curtail the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on its campus, it is important to remind the entire members of the Ajayi Polytechnic community to adhere to the following guidelines religiously:

Compulsory wearing of Facemasks by all students, Academic Staff and non-academic staff.

Submit to thorough temperature check at the school gale before admittance to the school

Endeavour to use the set dispensary handwashing machines placed at strategic places on the campus.

Maintain social distancing in and out of the classrooms

Ensure putting on of face masks while entering all offices on the campus, including the bursary.

Please note that while the itemized precaution is being adhered to, the management may develop other measures to ensure the safety of its members of staff and students.

Therefore, constant reviews of guidelines are to be expected.

Also, while we welcome back students’ return to campus, please note that all students are advised to travel into Ekiti State during the day. The curfew placed by the Ekiti State government, which commences by 8:00 pm and ends 6:00 am, is still in effect and anyone caught violating the curfew will be persecuted.

Therefore, we advised that all students to note this and plan their itinerary to not clash with the above time.

Thanks.

Yours faithfully,
