AKSU Postpones SUG Elections
Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) Students Union elections for the 2021/2022 academic session have been postponed due to the ongoing nationwide protest by the NLC.
Due to the ongoing nationwide protest by the NLC, the previously scheduled Students Union Election for Thursday, July 28, 2022 has been postponed. Consequently, the new Election Schedule is as follows:
Thursday, July 28, 2022-Friday, July 29, 2022 – Forms for the office of Director of Social and Parliamentarians for Departments that did not have representation on the list of cleared candidates will be sold and submitted.
Tuesday, August 2, 2022, by 11am – Presentation of Manifesto at Tetfund Pavillion). Main Campus.
Wednesday, August 3, 2022, by 11 am – Presentation of Manifesto at Tefund Building, Obio Akpa Campus.
Wednesday, August 3, 2022, by 12am – End of open campaign
Wednesday, August 3, 2022, by 6 pm. End of Accreditation
Thursday, August 4, 2022, by 9 am – Election
