The Management of Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) has informed fresh and returning students that the university has successfully uploaded students’ details on the NELFUND portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.

With the upload done, students are advised to proceed to apply for the Federal Government Student Loan through the official NELFUND platform; students who plan to apply should start early and keep their records straight.

AKUM stated that students’ details have been uploaded on the NELFUND portal for 2025/2026. The notice covers:

This update means eligible students can move to the next step (the loan application).

Where to apply (Official NELFUND link)

Students are to apply via the official portal: NELFUND official student loan portal.

Key instruction for applicants

AKUM advised eligible students to complete their applications promptly and ensure that all submitted information is accurate and consistent with university records.

A name mismatch, wrong number, or mixed-up detail can slow things down; students should check what they type before submitting.

Support for students who face issues

AKUM said students who have challenges should visit the university ICT Directorate for technical support.

Students should go straight to the ICT Directorate if the portal steps become confusing or the process stalls mid-way (no need to guess).

AKUM’s message to students

The university restated its commitment to easing access to education and urged students to act without hesitation.
