AKUM Outstanding Registration Fees

AKUM Notice: Outstanding Registration Fees for Newly Matriculated Students

Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) has issued a notice to newly matriculated students on the payment of outstanding registration fees.

The University Management stated that, after the last matriculation ceremony, some students began withholding payment because of the tuition-free status announced by His Excellency, the Governor of Niger State, Former Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago. Management said students should still Pay what remains of their registration fees; only tuition is excluded.

What students must do

AKUM directed any student who still owes registration fees to clear the outstanding amount, less the tuition fee. For the avoidance of doubt, Management said any student who does not pay the registration fees (excluding tuition) will not be allowed to sit for the Second Semester Examination.

Tuition fee breakdown by faculty

Management listed the tuition fee amounts by faculty, split between Nigerlites and Non-Nigerlites:

Faculty Nigerlites Non-Nigerlites
Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS) NGN 150,000 NGN 250,000
Faculty of Computing (FCOM) NGN 100,000 NGN 200,000

Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) NGN 50,000 NGN 100,000
Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture and Biotechnology (FSAB) NGN 50,000 NGN 100,000

AKUM’s instruction to students is simple: registration fees should be paid in full, excluding the tuition fee His Excellency undertook to pay.
