ASCOEA NCE Academic Calendar for 1st Semester 2025/2026

The management of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare has released the approved NCE academic calendar for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.
The schedule was issued through the Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance and it covers all NCE levels.
This guide breaks the dates down in plain terms so students can see what happens, and when it happens. Some dates may feel close together, so students are advised to keep this page handy.

Lecture period for NCE 100 and 200 levels (12 weeks) - 21 January 2026
Teaching practice orientation for NCE 300 level students - 26 January to 23 May 2026
Teaching practice exercise for NCE 300 level students (12 weeks) - 9 to 22 March 2026
Eid El Fitr and mid-semester break (2 weeks) - 23 March 2026
Resumption of academic activities after break - 24 to 27 March 2026
Submission of first semester examination questions and marking guides - 25 to 27 March 2026
Orientation and matriculation for NCE 100 level students - 30 March to 7 April 2026
Moderation and retrieval of first semester exam questions - 3 to 6 April 2026
