By  Updated on

Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare has released details on the start of the first semester for the 2025/2026 academic session. The notice covers resumption, registration periods, and lecture schedules for both NCE and undergraduate students.

The College will reopen on Monday, 5 January 2026. From that day, registration begins for new and returning students across all programmes. Students are advised to follow the dates carefully, as missing them may lead to unwanted issues.

NCE students

For NCE students, normal registration runs from 5 January to 17 January 2026. Late registration follows from 19 January to 24 January 2026. Lectures are scheduled to start on 19 January and will continue until 30 April 2026.

Undergraduate students

Undergraduate registration opens on 5 January 2026 and closes on 26 January 2026. Late registration takes place from 26 January to 2 February 2026. Lectures for undergraduates are expected to run from 12 January to 18 April 2026.

Students who register late will pay an extra Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) only. Anyone who fails to register during both the normal and late periods will be required to defer the session. That can delay plans, so students should act early.

Admission letters for both NCE and undergraduate programmes are ready for collection at the Admission and Registration Office from Monday, 5 January 2025. Students are asked to take note. Complaints after the close of registration will not be entertained, and that part was made clear.
