Admission Requirements
For Basic Midwifery:
- Essential Qualifications: Applicants must possess a minimum of five credits in the following subjects:
- English
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
These credits should be obtained from recognised examination boards like NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB and should not span more than two sittings. It is crucial to note that credits from NABTEB are only accepted in combination with other NABTEB results.
For Direct Entry Basic Midwifery for Community Midwives:
- In addition to the aforementioned basic requirements, candidates aspiring for direct entry must have an active registration as a Community Midwife.
How to Apply
Starting from Monday, 23rd October 2023, aspirants can collect the application forms.
- Place of Collection: Forms are available for direct procurement from the College of Nursing premises, situated within the ATBU Teaching Hospital in Bauchi.
Selection Process: Entrance Examination and Interview
The College has scheduled an Entrance Examination on Saturday, 11th November 2023. Post this examination, successful candidates will be shortlisted and subsequently invited for a screening interview.
- Interview Venue: The screening will be conducted on the grounds of the College of Nursing Sciences at the ATBU Teaching Hospital in Bauchi.
