AUSU Resumption Date for 2nd Semester 2024/2025

New semester begins Sunday, 13 July 2025
Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila has confirmed that the second semester for the 2024/2025 session will start on Sunday, 13 July 2025. All students, except a specific group, are expected to return on this date.
Special Notice for Final-Year Health Students
Students in 400-level Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Sciences, and Public Health are to resume two weeks later, on Sunday, 27 July 2025.
Attendance Policy
Lectures start right after resumption. No delays. The university has made it clear: you must attend lectures if you want to sit for your exams. Poor attendance could cost you more than just marks.
So if you’ve been away, it’s time to get your things ready. No room for dragging feet.
