Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) Online Computer-Based Test for Recruitment Exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of its online Computer-Based Test (CBT) for shortlisted candidates in the ongoing recruitment exercise. According to the board, the test will begin on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

This stage of the CDCFIB recruitment process is strictly for candidates who have received official scheduling. Participants must study and follow all examination guidelines carefully, as failure to comply may lead to disqualification. The online test will be monitored through an AI-proctored system designed to detect malpractice, unauthorised assistance, or device interference.

Key Details for Candidates

Candidates are advised to prepare adequately by ensuring stable internet access, steady power supply, and the use of a suitable device, preferably a laptop. While mobile phones and tablets may also be used, any interruptions such as phone calls or switching between apps will trigger violation alerts. Multiple violations will result in automatic failure.

The CDCFIB examination portal will open 30 minutes before each scheduled test. Candidates are to log in at the official recruitment website recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng using their assigned exam window. Each participant must complete the photo verification process and wait in the virtual room until the system automatically starts the test at the exact time.

Rejoining After Disconnection

If a candidate gets disconnected after starting the test, they can rejoin within the allotted time and continue from where they stopped. The system records progress automatically, ensuring fairness for all candidates.

The board encourages all applicants to prepare properly, maintain integrity, and complete the process with confidence. Best wishes go to every candidate participating in the CDCFIB Computer-Based Test.
