Babcock University Matriculation Ceremony 2024/2025

The President and Vice-Chancellor of Babcock University, Professor Ademola S. Tayo, has extended an invitation to the 26th Undergraduate Matriculation Ceremony.

The event is organised on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Council, and Senate of the university.

The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 17 December 2024, at 9:00 AM.

The venue for the event is the university’s Amphitheatre.

Important Information for Students

All 100-level and direct entry students are informed about their participation in the matriculation ceremony.

Students attending the ceremony may proceed on their New Year break immediately after the event.

Matriculation gowns must be returned to the designated collection centre on the same day before students leave the campus.

Accommodation Guidelines

Students who prefer to stay in their halls of residence after the matriculation may do so until the next day.

No student is permitted to remain in the halls of residence beyond Thursday, 19 December 2024.

Details regarding the resumption schedule for the upcoming academic year will be shared with students at a later time.

Students are encouraged to comply with all outlined guidelines and enjoy the celebratory event.
