A Look Back at BASUG’s Formation
With its establishment in 2010, the initial foundation of BASUG took a little over a year to complete. In March 2011, the Bauchi State Government enlisted the assistance of a consultant to resolve outstanding issues and put the finishing touches on the institution to ensure a smooth take-off for the 2011/12 academic session.
This process culminated in the creation of three campuses. The main one, located in Gadau (Azare), serves as the university’s administrative hub. The other two are in Misau and Bauchi respectively, each contributing uniquely to the diverse academic atmosphere that BASUG is known for today.
