BMO Foundation College Scholarship 2025
The BMO Foundation College Scholarship is open to fresh undergraduates in Nigerian universities. It supports bright students from Mbieri who need financial help to pursue their higher education. The scholarship removes the pressure of tuition and upkeep, allowing students to focus on learning and building a strong academic record.
About the Scholarship
The BMO Foundation College Scholarship offers ₦450,000 per academic year. This amount covers tuition, books, and accommodation. The award is renewable for the full duration of the undergraduate programme (four or five years) as long as the student maintains a CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent.
Students who keep up with the required academic standard will continue to receive funding each year.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be of Mbieri origin or currently reside in Mbieri.
- Must have admission into a recognised degree-awarding university or college in Nigeria.
- Current or returning 200-level students may also apply if they meet the CGPA requirement.
- Must submit proof of admission, JAMB score, and a one-page essay explaining why they deserve the scholarship.
How to Apply
All applications must be submitted through the official BMO Foundation application page.
Applicants should:
- Complete the online form accurately.
- Attach a one-page essay, scanned copies of admission acceptance, and JAMB score (as Word, PDF, or JPEG).
- Submit before the closing date for consideration.
Shortlisted candidates will take a 1.5-hour quantitative and verbal reasoning test. Those who perform well will move on to final verification and award selection.
