The Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) is pleased to announce the opening of the Hostel Accommodation Portal for the 2024/2025 academic session.

This important update is for all students who are seeking accommodation within the university’s hostels.

To secure a spot, you must follow the outlined steps and ensure all requirements are met before applying.

Steps to Apply for BMU Hostel Accommodation

1. Log in to the Student Portal: Visit the Returning Students Portal (https://my.bmu.edu.ng/returning/login/login) or the New Students Portal (https://my.bmu.edu.ng/applicants/login) based on your status.
2. Submit Application: Access the accommodation section and submit your application.
3. Complete University Fees: Only students who have paid their full university fees and uploaded the receipt will be eligible for accommodation.
4. Await Allocation: Do not make any payments for accommodation until you have been officially allocated a hostel space.
5. Check Payment Status: Ensure that all your payments are verified in your student portal.

Important Information on Accommodation Payments

BMU warns all students not to make any accommodation payments until they have been officially allocated a hostel space.

Any payments made without proper allocation will not be refunded.

Ensure all your receipts are uploaded and approved before proceeding with any accommodation process.

You can view the total fees for the academic session by logging into your student portal.
