BOSU Student Loan Registration Process: Full Guide for NELFUND Registration

Borno State University (BOSU) has announced the commencement of the NELFUND registration process for all students.

The Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Professor Babagana Gutti, has directed that students complete their registration at the ICT Unit by Tuesday, 3 December 2024.

This registration must be completed before the end of the second-semester examinations.

Faculties Required to Participate

Students from the following faculties are to report for the NELFUND registration:

• Faculty of Arts and Education
• Faculty of Agriculture
• Faculty of Sciences
• Faculty of Social and Management Sciences
• Faculty of Health and Allied Medicine

Academic Criteria for NELFUND

Students must meet the following academic requirements to be eligible for the NELFUND:

1. Fresh Entry: Applicants must have gained admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
2. Direct Entry: Applicants must possess a valid admission through JAMB into a recognised tertiary institution.
3. Full-time Undergraduate: Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate programme and provide a matriculation number.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Documentation

Applicants must provide the following documents and information for registration:

• JAMB Registration Number
• Bank Verification Number (BVN)
• National Identity Number (NIN)
• Personal details including age, gender, phone number, home address, and email address
• Recent passport photograph
