Benue State University (BSU) Admission into New Programmes

The Benue State University (BSU) is now accepting applications for its newly approved programmes.

This exciting opportunity follows the approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC), and the new courses will be available from the 2024/2025 academic session.

If you sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME and have the required subjects and scores, this is your chance to apply.

To begin the process, visit the nearest JAMB CBT Centre to change your institution to Benue State University as your first choice.

You may also choose any of the new programmes listed below if you meet the relevant requirements.

Entry Requirements

You must have 5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and any two of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Geography, or Economics.

These credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings.

UTME Subjects Combination

Your subjects should include Use of English, Mathematics, Physics, and one of Chemistry, Geography, Fine Arts, or Technical Drawing.

Faculty of Communication and Media Studies

  1. B.Sc Advertising
  2. B.Sc Broadcasting
  3. B.Sc Development Communication Studies
  4. Journalism and Media Studies
  5. B.Sc Public Relations
  6. B.Sc Strategic Communications

Entry Requirements

You will need a minimum of 5 O’Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, and any two other subjects at no more than two sittings.

UTME Subjects Combination

Your subjects should include Use of English and any other Arts or Social Science subjects.

Important Note

Interested candidates have until Saturday, 21st September, 2024, to effect these changes in preparation for the 2024/2025 academic session admission exercise.
