Benue State University Appoints Mr. Barnabas Terfa Hemba as Registrar
Mr. Barnabas Terfa Hemba has been appointed as the new Registrar of Benue State University, effective November 1st, 2024.
The Benue State University (BSU) has announced the appointment of Mr. Barnabas Terfa Hemba as its new Registrar.
This significant appointment was made by the Governing Council on Tuesday, 22nd October, 2024.
The appointment takes effect from Friday, 1st November, 2024.
Mr. Barnabas Terfa Hemba’s Background
Before his appointment, Mr. Hemba served as the Deputy Registrar in charge of the Senior Staff Establishment Division at Benue State University.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
Professional Contributions
Mr. Hemba has been an active member of the university’s administrative community.
He currently serves as the Chairman of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), Benue State University Branch.
Additionally, he is a member of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), where he previously held the position of Branch Chairman.
