Students are to clear with JAMB, check their admission status, download necessary documents, generate a BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF) and pay acceptance fee. Bayero University Kano Undergraduate Registration Procedure

Bayero University Kano (BUK) announces the commencement of the registration exercise (Payment of School Fees and Course Registration) for the 2022/2023 Academic Session. This exercise is scheduled to end by midnight, Sunday, 30th July 2023. This blog post aims to provide comprehensive steps to guide all concerned students through the registration process.

Instructions and Steps for Registration:

Step 1: Clear with JAMB Students are required to accept and print their JAMB Admission letter. This is a crucial step as it validates your admission into the university.

Step 2: Check Admission Status Login here with your JAMB Number, State of origin, and gender to check your admission status.

Step 3: Download Admission Documents Download the BUK Admission letter, Undertaking here and University Health Services Registration Form here.

Step 4: Payment of Acceptance Fee Generate, download and print a BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF). The acceptance fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) is reflected on the student’s BUKPPF, to be paid using Remita e-Payments and e-Collection platforms. It is essential to carefully read, understand, and follow the payment procedure to avoid any loss of funds due to incorrect data entry. Students can validate the payment by clicking on ‘check payment status’ on the payment page.

Please note: All fees are non-refundable after payment.

Step 5: Upload Relevant Documents Upload the following documents in jpg format (Size must not exceed 1MB):

  • JAMB Slip
  • JAMB Admission Letter
  • O Level Result
  • A Level Result (For Direct Entry Candidates only)
  • Any other relevant document(s)

Ensure the documents are clear and readable as blurry or unclear documents may be rejected. If any document is rejected, students are required to re-upload a clearer copy.

Note: After this step, there may be a delay of 12 to 24 hours while awaiting approval of the uploaded documents.

Step 6: Print Acknowledgement Slip After successfully completing the steps above, print the Acknowledgement Slip, which contains your registration number and additional instructions for the registration and documentation process.

Step 7: Online Registration Once the above steps are successfully completed, students can proceed here for online registration.
