Orientation Details for New Students
The orientation marks the official start of academic life at Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences (BYSCONS). It provides new students with an overview of the college’s learning environment, campus structure, academic regulations, and student welfare policies. During the programme, students will meet key academic officers, department heads, and course advisers who will guide them through their early days at the college.
Students are encouraged to come prepared with their admission letters, proof of payment of all fees, and necessary registration documents to avoid delays.
Registration Process
Registration will take place immediately after the orientation exercise. Students are to proceed to their respective departments for documentation, verification, and issuance of matriculation numbers. Each student is responsible for ensuring that all submitted details are accurate and complete. Any false information may lead to disqualification or withdrawal of admission.
Expectations During the Orientation
Participants will receive guidance on academic expectations, class schedules, library use, hostel accommodation, and examination procedures. The college management advises all students to participate fully to gain a clear understanding of their academic responsibilities and the values promoted at BYSCONS.
Closing Note
The Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences (BYSCONS) welcomes all new students to a productive and fulfilling learning experience. The college remains committed to building professional nurses who will contribute meaningfully to healthcare development in Bayelsa State and beyond.
