The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 23 new undergraduate and 21 new postgraduate programs at Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), Katsina State. The programs will be effective from the 2023/2024 academic session. The approval followed a resource verification visit by NUC to assess the university's resources. The newly introduced undergraduate programs include Mass Communication, Law, Mechatronics Engineering, International Relations and Diplomacy, Urban and Regional Planning, Applied Geophysics, Entrepreneurship, and Textile Design Technology. FUDMA already offers over 80 different programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
FUDMA's Direct Entry Screening form for the 2023/2024 academic session is now available. Applicants must meet certain score requirements in ND, NCE, IJMB, and 'O' level credits. Registration is done online via the university portal with a fee of N2,000. The registration period is from 14th July to 24th August 2023, with the screening for DE students scheduled from 28th August to 1st September 2023.
