ABUTH SSCE result upload notice for 2025/2026 applicants
The College of Nursing Sciences at ABUTH, Zaria, is reminding all students who applied for the 2025/2026 academic session to upload their Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal. This step helps the college and JAMB check each candidate’s details and confirm who is ready for admission.
According to the Information and Public Relations Officer, Haruna Ibrahim, many applicants have still not carried out this step. The upload is part of the checks used to confirm admission status, so every candidate is expected to complete it as soon as possible.
Why ABUTH needs SSCE results on the JAMB portal
The College of Nursing Sciences needs access to each student’s SSCE record through the JAMB portal. This record is used to:
- Confirm that the candidate has the right subjects and grades.
- Match the SSCE details with the details used to register for JAMB.
- Help the college see who is fully ready for the next stage of the admission process.
Haruna Ibrahim explained that many applicants have not yet uploaded their SSCE results on the JAMB system. If the record is missing, the admission process for that candidate may be delayed or even stopped, because the college cannot confirm the result.
For this reason, every applicant is expected to upload the correct SSCE result and make sure the details on the JAMB profile match the details used during application.
What applicants should do now
To keep their admission on track, applicants are advised to:
Any student who has already uploaded the correct SSCE record can sign in again to confirm that the result still shows on the JAMB portal.
What happens if a student does not upload the SSCE result
If a candidate does not upload the SSCE result on the JAMB portal, the college may not be able to:
- Confirm if the student meets the entry requirements.
- Process the admission file on time.
This may slow the admission process or prevent the candidate from being considered. Since the upload is a required step, it should be treated as part of the admission process itself.
