The Clifford University (CLU) Convocation Ceremony is a highly anticipated event where degrees and prizes are awarded.

This grand occasion is set to take place from Friday, 27th September to Sunday, 29th September 2024.

You are cordially invited by the President/Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chimezie Allwell Omeonu, who extends this invitation on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Council, and Senate of the University.

Clifford University Convocation Ceremony: Day One – Consecration Service

On Friday, 27th September 2024, the ceremony begins with a Consecration Service at 5:00 PM.

The special guest for this service is Dr Yetunde Alozie, the Director of Education for the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference (ENUC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

This service marks the beginning of the Convocation and sets the tone for the weekend’s events.

Clifford University Convocation Ceremony: Day Two – Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service

The second day, Saturday, 28th September 2024, starts with a Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Service at 08:30 AM.

Pastor Dr Selom Kwasi Sessou, the Executive Secretary of the West-Central Africa Division (WAD) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, will be the guest speaker.

This service is a moment of reflection, gratitude, and spiritual upliftment.

Clifford University Convocation Ceremony: Day Three – Convocation Ceremony

The main event, the Convocation Ceremony, is scheduled for Sunday, 29th September 2024, at 10:00 AM.

Engr. Beniah E. Ojum, the CEO and Chairman of CLE Engineering Consult Nig. Ltd, will be the commencement speaker.

This ceremony is where degrees and prizes are awarded, celebrating the hard work and dedication of the graduates.

The venue for the ceremony is the Clifford University Main Auditorium, where the entire university community will gather to honour the achievements of its students.

This event is a significant milestone for all those involved and promises to be a memorable occasion.
