Requirements for CONSA Post-Basic Nursing Admission
To be eligible for the CONSA Post-Basic Nursing programme, you must meet these criteria:
- You need a minimum of five (5) credits, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- These credits must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
- The accepted exam bodies are WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB.
- Combination of results is allowed, but only if the exams are from the same body (e.g., WAEC/WAEC or NECO/NECO).
- NABTEB results cannot be combined with WAEC, NECO, or another NABTEB result.
- You must present an original WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB certificate or a computer printout.
- Awaiting results are not accepted.
- You need a testimonial from the school where you completed your WAEC or NECO.
- You must have a birth certificate from the National Population Commission, a government hospital, or a court declaration of age.
- You should have completed a three-year Basic Midwifery or Psychiatric Nursing programme.
- You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Midwife or a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- A valid practising licence is required.
- You must have at least one (1) year of post-clinical experience in the relevant area.
- An active and functional personal email is necessary.
How to Apply for the CONSA Post-Basic Nursing Admission
Follow these steps to apply:
- Pay a non-refundable fee of twenty thousand, five hundred naira (N20,500) to the school’s bank account.
