Available Positions
Category A
Deputy Bursar
Applicants must have five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics. A first degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in a related field are required. Professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA is required. A minimum of seventeen years of work experience is expected.
Deputy Director, Internal Audit
Applicants must be at least at the rank of Chief Internal Auditor. Requirements include a degree in Accounting with at least Second Class Lower, a Master’s degree in a related field, and four years on the post of Chief Internal Auditor. Membership of ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, or related bodies is required, with at least eighteen years of post qualification experience and eight years after professional certification.
Chief Accountant
Applicants must hold five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, a first degree in Accounting, and a Master’s degree in a related field. Professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA is required, with at least fourteen years of experience. Candidates are expected to be familiar with accounting software and show leadership ability.
Principal Accountant
Applicants must have five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, a first degree or HND in Accounting or a related field, and professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA. A minimum of ten years of relevant experience is required. Familiarity with accounting software and leadership skills are expected.
Senior Accountant
Applicants must hold five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, a first degree or HND in Accounting or a related field, and professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA. At least six years of relevant experience is required. Knowledge of accounting software and leadership skills are expected.
Category B
Director, Works and Services Division
The Director heads the Works and Services Division and reports to the Vice-Chancellor. The role covers daily oversight of works and services activities across the university.
Applicants must hold an engineering qualification registrable with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and the Nigerian Society of Engineers. At least fifteen years of post qualification experience is required, with no less than five years in a university setting.
