DELSU Acceptance Fee Deadline & Resumption Date 2025/2026
The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has released an official notice reminding all newly admitted students to pay their acceptance fees on or before Monday, 27 October 2025.
According to the bulletin dated Thursday, 23 October 2025, the directive applies to all candidates who received admission offers in the first, second, and third batches across various programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. DELSU stated that failure to pay the acceptance fee before the deadline could lead to the loss of the admission offer, as available spaces may be reallocated to other qualified applicants.
DELSU Announces Resumption Dates
The university management has also confirmed the official resumption schedule for both new and returning students:
- Sunday, 2 November 2025: Fresh students are to resume on campus.
- Sunday, 16 November 2025: Returning students are expected back on campus.
All admitted students are encouraged to take note of these dates and make the necessary preparations ahead of the academic session’s commencement.
Acceptance Fee Reminder for New Students
New students are advised to complete their acceptance fee payment as early as possible through the official DELSU online portal to secure their place. This step confirms their admission and ensures inclusion in subsequent registration processes.
Failure to pay within the approved timeline may lead to automatic withdrawal of the admission offer. Students are also reminded to retain their payment receipts, as they will be required during registration and orientation.
DELSU Welcomes New Students
The management of DELSU congratulates all newly admitted students and looks forward to welcoming them for the start of the 2025/2026 academic session. The university remains committed to maintaining academic excellence while providing a supportive environment for learning and personal development.
