Delta State Maritime Polytechnic (DESMAPOLY), Burutu, is now selling forms for its 2025/2026 Higher National Diploma (HND) admissions. Both full-time and part-time options are available across several campuses.

Entry Requirements for HND

To apply, candidates must:

• Satisfy all the requirements for admission into the ND programmes
• Have a National Diploma in a related course with at least 2.50 CGPA (Lower Credit)
• Have completed at least one year of industrial training or present a valid letter of work experience
• In some cases, ND graduates with a Pass (2.00 – 2.49) may still apply, but they must undergo a Pre-HND year
• Request their ND transcript to be sent directly to DESMAPOLY by their previous school

No aptitude test is required for the HND admission process — that’s one less thing to stress about.

How to Apply

1. Go to the official DESOMATECH application portal
2. Click “Apply Now”
3. Fill in your details and follow prompts to pay the ₦25,000 application fee
4. Use the same email and password to log in and fill the full application form
5. Print two copies of the acknowledgement slip for your records
