Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara is now selling forms for its weekend ND and HND programmes for 2024/2025. The option is open to those with weekday jobs or other responsibilities.

Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara (DESPO) has kicked off admission for its weekend ND and HND programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. This is a flexible path for people who want to study without putting weekday commitments on hold.
Whether you’re working, running a business, or managing family duties, this route lets you build your qualifications without needing to be on campus full-time during the week.

Who Can Apply?
For ND Applicants
- Must have five credit passes including English and Maths
- Accepted exam bodies: WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB
- Must be from no more than two sittings
For HND Applicants
- Same O’Level requirement as ND
- Must hold an ND certificate from an NBTE-approved polytechnic
- If you graduated with a Pass, you’ll need at least two years of work experience
How to Apply
- Go to the DESPO application portal
- Select Weekend Application Form
- Pay the form fee of ₦15,000 using a Verve or MasterCard
- Fill in the required details and submit the form online
- Print two copies of the acknowledgment slip
Screening and Required Documents
The school will announce the screening date later. When coming, make sure you bring:
- Four passport photos
- Receipt confirming payment
- O’Level result or certificate
- ND certificate (if applying for HND)
- Certificate of local government origin
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Pencil and other basic writing tools
