DESPO Weekend Programmes Admission Form 2025/2026: ND/HND Courses

Study at Your Own Pace with DESPO’s Weekend Programme

Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara (DESPO) has kicked off admission for its weekend ND and HND programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. This is a flexible path for people who want to study without putting weekday commitments on hold.

Whether you’re working, running a business, or managing family duties, this route lets you build your qualifications without needing to be on campus full-time during the week.

Who Can Apply?

For ND Applicants

• Must have five credit passes including English and Maths
• Accepted exam bodies: WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB
• Must be from no more than two sittings

For HND Applicants

• Same O’Level requirement as ND
• Must hold an ND certificate from an NBTE-approved polytechnic
• If you graduated with a Pass, you’ll need at least two years of work experience

How to Apply

1. Go to the DESPO application portal
2. Select Weekend Application Form
3. Pay the form fee of ₦15,000 using a Verve or MasterCard
4. Fill in the required details and submit the form online
5. Print two copies of the acknowledgment slip

Screening and Required Documents

The school will announce the screening date later. When coming, make sure you bring:

• Four passport photos
• Receipt confirming payment
• O’Level result or certificate
• ND certificate (if applying for HND)
• Certificate of local government origin
• Birth certificate or age declaration
• Pencil and other basic writing tools
