The Esangbedo Humanitarian Foundation (EHF) has opened applications for the Dominic Esangbedo Tertiary Education Scholarship (DETES) 2025. This scheme was set up in memory of the late Dominic Ekodon Esangbedo, a man who held education close to his heart. The scholarship is divided into two main categories:
- Category 1: Igueben Local Government Area
- Must be an indigene of Igueben, Edo State.
- Enrolled in a STEM course at a public institution in Edo State.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Female students and vulnerable groups are strongly encouraged.
- Category 2: Other LGAs in Edo State
- Must be an indigene of Edo State, but outside Igueben.
- Must also be studying STEM in a public institution within the state.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Female students and vulnerable groups are encouraged here too.
