Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) Recruitment 2025 Update

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has expressed appreciation to applicants for their patience during the ongoing recruitment process. The Board has confirmed that a computer-based test (CBT) will soon take place for shortlisted candidates across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Applicants who previously applied for roles in any of the four services are to visit the official recruitment portal at recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng next week to confirm their shortlisting status. The site will also display each candidate’s exam date, time, and designated centre. Candidates should take care to use only the official portal to avoid being scammed by fake sites or false links.

Next Steps for CDCFIB Applicants

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has reminded applicants that the recruitment process is completely free of charge. No stage of the exercise requires any form of payment. The Board urges candidates to depend solely on official communication channels for updates and announcements about the next recruitment phases.

Applicants are also encouraged to remain alert and avoid anyone claiming to have inside access or requesting money for placements or special consideration. The Board has consistently warned that such actions are fraudulent and punishable.

CDCFIB’s Commitment to Fairness

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) maintains its pledge to run a fair, transparent, and merit-based selection process. The recruitment team is working to ensure that only qualified and deserving candidates are considered for roles in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

At no time will any applicant be asked to pay fees, reveal personal banking details, or make financial contributions to move forward in the process. Every stage is carefully managed to protect applicants from scams and preserve the integrity of the recruitment.

Staying Informed and Safe

All applicants should continue to check the CDCFIB portal for genuine updates and remain wary of unofficial channels or messages on social media. Any suspicious communication or demand for payment should be reported immediately to the nearest security office.

Closing Note

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) encourages every candidate to stay informed, be patient, and trust the official process. The Board remains committed to selecting the best-qualified candidates for national service while ensuring fairness and protecting the public from fraudulent recruitment schemes.
