ECWA College of Nursing Sciences, Egbe Recruitment

ECWA College of Nursing Sciences, Egbe, was set up to provide nursing education and training with a Christian ethos for future nurses and midwives. The college sits on a 40-acre medical complex, with an Academic Campus and a Residential Campus. It currently runs Basic, Post Basic Nursing, and Midwifery programmes for about 400 students.

To keep this work going, the College is asking for qualified people to apply for different administrative and academic posts.

The candidate must be a registered nurse and midwife, licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a nursing educator.

Registrar

The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the College. The role covers leadership and oversight of administration, academic support, student support services, and information technology.

The Registrar helps with policy follow-through, keeps school records, supports academic processes, and also supports the Provost in meeting the College mission. It is a big job, so the person has to be steady.

They also check student progress and give support when needed. Some students will need extra help, that’s normal.

Midwife Educator

The Midwife Educator trains future midwives through teaching and practical support. The role includes curriculum work, lectures, and hands-on training.

They also assess students, give feedback, and guide them through their learning.

Clinical Instructors

Clinical Instructors are experienced nurses who supervise students during clinical postings. They work with students in health settings, so students can learn the right skills and habits for patient care.

They also give feedback and support as students face real work situations, which can be a lot for new people.

Physics Lecturer (Part-Time)

The part-time Physics Lecturer will teach Physics and help students build both theory and practical understanding. The role includes classroom teaching, lab sessions, student assessment, and some input into curriculum work.

The notice says the ideal candidate should have IT skills and a strong commitment to science education.

Microbiology Lecturer (Part-Time)

The part-time Microbiology Lecturer will teach Microbiology and support students to build lab skills and scientific understanding. Work includes teaching, lab coordination, assessing students, and supporting curriculum improvement.
