EKSU SUG suspends NEOLIFE and FHG activities on campus

Ekiti State University (EKSU) SUG Suspends NEOLIFE and FHG Activities on Campus From 11 February 2026

The Student Union Government (SUG) of Ekiti State University (EKSU) has announced the immediate suspension of all activities, operations, meetings, promotions, and programmes of NEOLIFE and its affiliate group, Faitheoric Global (FHG), within the university community.

The directive was issued to the student body through an official memo; the SUG Sets the suspension as effective from Wednesday, 11 February 2026.

What the suspension covers

The SUG directive applies to NEOLIFE and FHG activities within the EKSU community, including:

In plain terms, the union has placed a campus-wide freeze on NEOLIFE and FHG-related engagements; students are expected to stay clear.

Why EKSU SUG took this step

The union said it acted after “careful observation and multiple reports” about the groups’ activities on campus.

The SUG also stated that evidence gathered indicated the operations of NEOLIFE and FHG had allegedly affected students’ academic focus, mental well-being, and financial stability. The memo referenced persistent recruitment drives, unregulated meetings held at odd hours, and reports of pressure on students to place business engagements above their studies as key concerns.

What students are expected to do

Following the directive, students have been advised to refrain from participating in or promoting any NEOLIFE-related activities within the university premises until further notice; that includes FHG as an affiliate group named in the memo.

Sanctions warning

The SUG warned that any student found violating the directive would face appropriate sanctions.
