FCE Yola Notice on Reopening for Academic Activities
Federal College of Education, Yola (FCEYOLA) notice on the reopening of the college for normal academic activities.
You will recall that academic activities in the College were closed due to Students unrest on 26th October 2021. The College Management after due consultation with relevant Stakeholders has approved the opening of the College for all academic activities on Friday, 5th November 2021.
Lectures are to commence immediately while second Semester registration continues.
The management had already addressed the following issues:
- Shortage of water supply to hostel area.
- Re-allocation of students from male hostel Block 10 to alternative accommodation.
- Non-availability of some drugs in the College Clinic.
Efforts are being made to address other sundry issues to ensure smooth academic activities.
Consequent upon the above, all students are to pay a mandatory charge of one thousand five hundred Naira (N1500-00) only for damage caused to College property during the demonstration (through remita) and sign an undertaking to be of good behaviour throughout their stay in the College.
