FCHDK on-the-spot admission (Jan 2026): dates, venue

The Federal College of Horticulture, Dadin-Kowa (FCHDK), Gombe State, has announced “on-the-spot admission” for prospective students. The college invited applicants from Science or Social Science backgrounds; candidates may apply with or without JAMB, as long as they have SSCE results (WAEC or NECO).

This notice is straight to the point: show up, present the required documents, and collect the admission letter (if the candidate meets the stated requirements).

Who can apply

FCHDK stated that the on-the-spot admission is open to:

• Applicants with JAMB results, and applicants without JAMB results
• Candidates from Science backgrounds
• Candidates from Social Science backgrounds
• Applicants with WAEC or NECO (SSCE)

So, whether a candidate has a JAMB printout or not, the college still asked them to come forward; the SSCE result remains a key document.

Documents to bring for admission letter collection

Interested candidates are to report to the College Temporary Site with:

• JAMB result (if available)
• SSCE results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)

The purpose of the visit is to collect admission letters. A candidate who comes without the documents may waste the trip; it is better to move with the papers ready (and keep them clean, too).

NELFUND enrolment note

The announcement also mentioned NELFUND enrolment for eligible candidates. The notice phrased it plainly: “No school fees? No problem!” then pointed to NELFUND enrolment for those who qualify.

These are the only dates and venue stated in the notice; prospective students should plan their visit within the window, not after.
