The Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology (FCMLST), Jos has opened its doors for new learners in the 2025/2026 academic session. The focus this time is on short-term certificate courses, offering practical knowledge in areas that touch directly on public health and clinical practice.

Three programmes are up for grabs:

NECO and WAEC CBT App

JAMB CBT App

JAMB CBT SOftware

These are not long-term courses, but rather compact programmes designed to sharpen skills and provide recognised certificates.

Who can apply for Applied Immunology and Vaccine Science?

The course runs for nine months.

Who can apply for Mortuary Science and Phlebotomy?

Both Mortuary Science and Phlebotomy run for six months.

How to apply for FCMLST short-term courses

The application is not free. Each candidate must pay a ₦10,000 non-refundable fee through the Remita platform. Here is the process in plain words:
