Federal Poly Ayede Convocation 2026: Schedule, Fees

Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State, has announced its combined maiden convocation programmes for the award of diplomas, prizes, and fellowships.

The schedule covers church service, press briefing, novelty match, lecture, the main ceremony, and Jumat prayer; dates are now Public.

Convocation programme schedule

Day 1: Sunday, 8 February 2026

Event: Church Service
Venue: TETFund Building, Temporary Site, Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Iresa-Pupa, Oyo State
Time: 10.00 a.m.

Day 2: Monday, 9 February 2026

Event: Press Conference
Venue: Administrative Building, Permanent Site, Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State
Time: 11.00 a.m.

Day 3: Tuesday, 10 February 2026

Event: Novelty Match (Teaching Staff vs Non-Teaching Staff)
Venue: Sports Ground, Temporary Site, Iresa-Pupa, Surulere Local Government Area
Time: 3.00 p.m.

Day 4: Wednesday, 11 February 2026

Event: Convocation Lecture
Guest Lecturer: Dr. Zacch Adelabu Adedeji, Executive Chairman, Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS)
Topic: “The Role of Technology in Implementing Nigeria’s New Tax Laws: Challenges, Prospects, and Implications for National Development”
Venue: Permanent Site, Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Ogo Oluwa Local Government Area, Ogbomoso, Oyo State

Information for graduands

Convocation fee

Graduands are to pay N40,000.00 (Forty Thousand Naira only) as convocation fees; payment is part of the process.

How to pay the convocation fee (Remita)

Payment is to be made via Remita payment portal (remita.net), using these details:

• Pay Federal Government
• Federal Polytechnic Ayede
• School fees
• Narration: Convocation fee
• Include: Name, Email & Phone Number

Academic gowns and invitation cards

Collection of gowns and guest cards

After presenting evidence of payment, graduands should collect academic gowns at the appropriate school offices between Monday, 2 February and Monday, 9 February 2026.

Collection time runs from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Each graduand is also entitled to collect guest invitation cards; cards are issued with the gown process.

Return of gowns and late surcharge

Graduands are to return complete robes after the convocation ceremony on or before Monday, 17 February 2026, at their respective schools.

Failure to return the robes by the deadline attracts a surcharge of N1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira) per day for each day the return is delayed; the count starts after the due date.

Note on conduct at the convocation ground

The Polytechnic notes that convocation ceremonies are solemn; movement in and out of the convocation ground will not be permitted.
