Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro Convocation Date Change: New 2026 Ceremony Date Is 15 April

The Academic Board of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, at its Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, discussed the 2026 Convocation Ceremony and agreed to change the date; the Board said the adjustment will support planning and proper preparation.

The earlier date and why it changed

The Academic Board approved Wednesday, 15 April 2026 as the new date for the 2026 Convocation Ceremony.

The Polytechnic directed all organs, units, committees, and stakeholders involved in convocation planning and execution to begin and step up preparations for the programme; the notice asked all concerned parties to note the change and comply.
