Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro is now taking applications for its 2025/2026 Higher National Diploma (HND) Full-Time programmes. These are two-year courses that run across four semesters. They’re open to candidates with the right academic background and hands-on experience.

What You Need to Apply

Before you jump in, make sure you meet these conditions:

• You must hold a National Diploma in a related field, with at least a Lower Credit (2.50 CGPA).
• You must meet the O’Level subject requirements (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE).
• You need at least one year of relevant industrial training after your ND.
• You must upload your ND transcript if you did not study at Federal Poly Ilaro.
• You will sit for a screening test online.
• You will not be registered unless your transcript is received.

2. Open the Application Portal
   
   Head to applications.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng
3. Generate Your Invoice
   
   Click ‘Applicant’ then ‘Generate Invoice’

4. Pay at a Bank
   
   Take the invoice to any of these banks:
   • UBA
   • WEMA Bank
   • Polaris Bank
   • Union Bank
   • Access Bank
   • Zenith Bank
   • Ilaro Poly Micro-Finance Bank
5. Return to the Portal
   
   After payment, log back in and fill the form.

Important Reminders

• The invoice and Remita number (RRR) must be in your name.
• Only upload clear documents in PDF format. Blurry files may cost you your admission.
• Use the same name format as your WAEC and JAMB documents.
• Provide a working phone number and email address.
• The screening exam is computer-based. More info will be sent to your email.
• Keep checking the website for updates.

Final Advice

Don’t guess your course eligibility. Read the polytechnic’s Prospectus before applying. If you apply for a course you’re not qualified for, your admission could be withdrawn even after it’s granted.
