Federal Polytechnic Offa Academic Calendar 2025/2026
The Academic Board of Federal Polytechnic Offa has approved the academic calendar for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session. The decision was made during the board meeting held on Monday, 27 October 2025. The calendar provides clear dates for registration, lectures, examinations, and other key academic activities.
Key Dates for Students
Hostel Opening and Resumption
Hostel facilities will open to students on Sunday, 7 December 2025. Both new and returning students are expected to resume on Monday, 8 December 2025. Registration for all categories of students will begin the same day.
Registration Period
Registration will continue for four weeks, ending on Friday, 2 January 2026. Late registration will run from Monday, 5 January to Friday, 9 January 2026. Students are advised to complete registration early to avoid delays in class attendance and assessment.
Academic Board and SIWES Activities
An Academic Board meeting for the consideration of results will hold on Tuesday, 16 December 2025. Students on SIWES will resume on Monday, 22 December 2025, when lectures will also commence.
Major Events
Convocation is scheduled for Thursday, 12 February 2026. Orientation for new students will take place from Monday, 16 to Friday, 20 February 2026, followed by matriculation on Thursday, 26 February 2026. These events formally welcome new students into the academic community of Federal Polytechnic Offa.
Lecture and Examination Schedule
Lectures for the first semester will end on Friday, 14 March 2026, after fourteen weeks of teaching. A revision week will follow from Monday, 16 to Friday, 20 March 2026.
