Application Now Open
Federal Polytechnic, Ugep, in Cross River State, has started its Post-UTME screening for ND admission into the 2025/2026 academic year. If you’re planning to study at Ugep, here’s what you need to know.
The application period runs from Monday, 14 July to Tuesday, 30 September 2025.
Courses Offered
The following National Diploma (ND) programmes are open for application:
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Statistics
- Architectural Technology
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Library and Information Science
- Accountancy
- Business Administration
- Hospitality and Tourism
- Public Administration
Hostel accommodation is available for both male and female students.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the screening, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025
- Sit for the 2025 UTME
- Score a minimum of 100
- Upload your O’Level result on JAMB CAPS
- Choose Federal Polytechnic Ugep as your first choice
If you didn’t originally select Ugep, you can still apply—just make sure to change your institution on JAMB portal before 30 September 2025.
How Screening Works
There won’t be a written test. Screening will be based on your submitted O’Level results.
If your result isn’t uploaded to JAMB CAPS, your application won’t be reviewed. So double-check.
How to Apply
- Pay a ₦2,000 non-refundable fee
- Use Remita with GIFMIS code 0517018031, or
- Pay at the school’s bursary department
- Make sure you meet the course requirements
- You must have at least five credits, including English and Mathematics, plus any department-specific subjects
- Complete your application before the deadline
- No extensions after 30 September 2025
