NBTE Accredits 8 Courses for Federal Polytechnic Ukana

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has accredited eight courses at the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, Akwa Ibom State.

According to a statement that was released by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Manasseh Umoette, the approval was included in a letter that was delivered to the Rector, Dr. Uduak Sunday Ukekpe, and signed by the Director of Polytechnic Programmes at NBTE, Arc.Ogoh Ngbede.

ND Civil Engineering, ND Electrical/Electronic Engineering, ND Computer Engineering, ND Science Laboratory Technology, ND Computer Science, ND Statistics, ND Accountancy, and ND Business Administration and Management are among the accredited programmes.

The approval is a result of the Resource Inspection/Verification conducted by the NBTE Visitation team on the 13th and 14th of July, 2022 at the Polytechnic. The approval is effective beginning with the 2021/2022 school year.
