Fed Poly Damaturu Diploma in Humanitarian Studies Admission Form 2021

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu (FEDPODAM), Yobe State, 2021 diploma in humanitarian studies (DHS) programme.

This course provides the background of, and current responses to humanitarian crises. The scope includes the history, categories, theoretical models, prevention, mitigation and response to disasters caused by a complex mix of natural hazards and human action or inaction. With the growing complexities of humanitarian disasters around the world, the need for more and trained or skilled humanitarian workers becomes necessary which this programme has taken the task to provide.

Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Diploma in Humanitarian Studies Eligibility & Duration

Eligibility: This is a diploma suitable for persons working in or planning to enter the humanitarian sector, including staff of humanitarian aid organizations, governments, and UN agencies. There are no prerequisites for this course. Although humanitarian aid experience is essential, it is not presumed to be a prerequisite for admission into the programme. Candidates need to pass at least four O-level subjects including English.
